Weight Shift Forward/Backward with Exercise Band
Attach the "Medusa Band" or other Exercise Band to the Strong Stall Bar placing the band around your waist. Step away from the bar to take slack out of the band. If you need a Chair beside you for balance, be sure to move one close. Find a neutral spine and engage your core. You will start by shifting your weight away from the anchor and control your shift back. You be the boss of the band, don't let it pull you back fast. You can do this exercise facing any direction. Option: add a step to your weight shift. Then add a step and a march. This is a wonderful exercise to integrate your upper body, core and lower body. We need this for our everyday task of walking. Weight shifting with resistance is a wonderful functional exercise. Add a Weighted Ball in your hands when you are feeling confident, this will add a new stability challenge to the same exercise.
